Feeling Sick…

Tuesday, October 25th, 2005

Well today is just like every other day at work, the only difference is that i’ve completed my projects… two of them, and now feeling sick. I’ve been feeling uneasy since last week, knowing that i might be getting sick soon. Sigh~ never knew that it’ll be this week. Thank god my projects are done and it’s not the holiday week. I’ll curse my luck if it is…Hehehe… Hmmm, i can’t recall when was the last time i went to see the doctor.. It’s been a long long time ago. Hopefully it’ll go away soon and not drag on till next week.

Before i end this blog entry, just one question.. Can someone tell me what is the main objective of having Friendster? Is it for us to mix/keep-in-touch with our fellow peers and friends? OR is it for us to make new friends regardless whether they’re an outsider or simply our friend’s friend?

Complexity..

Tuesday, October 4th, 2005

One thing for sure about the industry is the complexity. I manage to solve the problem i was facing previously with the database backup and restore using SQL-DMO and MSDE. But because MSDE was a so down to the bone that i have to do all those stuff using oSQL using command prompt. Now that i’m done with it, I’m assign to come up with a utility tool, somewhat a wizard like tool to backup and restore database. Complex is an understatement and i’m still learning.. from scratch.. Why must it be so complex? Why can’t it be so damn simple like what they have in SQL Server 2000? Why is it that everything is complex?

Hmmm…. the simpler things in life evolves and turn into complex materials. Cells and DNA…to organs and body functions…. to character and mentality. I realize that i’m really a complex person who enjoys the simpler things in life… I’ll run to the car dealer and get myself a Honda Integra even if i can afford a BMW 5 series.. Anytime…
